ART AQUARIUM EXHIBITION ~Edo･Coolness of Kingyo~
本展覧会は古き良き江戸情緒と現代のテクノロジーと金魚のコラボレーションを実現する全く新しい企画展です。1,000匹を超える金魚が舞うように泳ぐ、巨大金魚鉢『花魁』。鯉が泳ぐ水槽にプロジェクションマッピングした『水中四季絵巻』。花や鳥などのモーショングラフィックス映像に金魚の影が映し出された屏風水槽（ビョウブリウム）など様々にデザインされた水槽と金魚がコラボレーションする全く新しいアクアリウムアートが織りなす特別な世界です。大人気の定番作品に新作を加え、毎年開催ごとに変わる空間構成や演出を、是非お見逃しのない様にご来場下さい。
This exhibition is totally new with the collaboration of good old Edo period atmosphere, modern technology, and the kingyo. The huge kingyobachi “Oiran” where over 1,000 kingyo elegantly swims. The “Four Seasons Aquarium” which is using projection mapping on the aquarium where carps swim. “Byouburium” using motion graphics projection of flower and birds, making kingyo shadows. Works such as these, collaboration of aquarium tank and kingyo makes an extraordinary world. The new works are added to the very popular classic art works and space composition and performance changes every single year. Please don’t miss it!
作品紹介
NEW The Four Seasons Aquarium (水中四季絵巻)
プロジェクションマッピングにより投影された美しい日本の四季の中を本物の錦鯉が泳ぐ８ｍの大作です。
日本庭園を思わせるこの作品は、池への景色の映り込みも見事に再現しています。
錦鯉と四季という世界に誇る日本の魅力を世界に発信する「クールジャパンアート」の極みともいえる作品です。
It is huge 8 meter work where the real “nishikigoi(carp)” swims in the Japanese four seasons which are projected by projection mapping. The work that reminds you of Japanese garden also reproduced beautifully the scenery reflecting on the pond. It can be said it is the greatest work of “cool Japan art” using nishikigoi and the four seasons which are the attractiveness of Japan to be proud of to the world.

Kingyo Collection (金魚コレクション)
金魚はその存在自体が人の手で生み出されたアートです。その生きるアートをコレクションとして、沢山の品種を一作品づつ観賞して頂きます。耳にはしていても、実は普段中々目にすることのない正当な金魚品種や聞いたことも無い様な珍しい変わり品種を展示します。金魚の奥深さをご堪能下さい。金魚を妖艶に映し出す演出も楽しめます。
Kingyo itself is an art created by human hands. This living art, as a collection of many kinds, can be enjoyed one by one. The genuine kind of kingyo which you have heard about but actually hard to see in everyday life, and also, the unusual rare kinds which you have probably never heard of are exhibited. Please enjoy the profundity of kingyo You can also enjoy the dramaturgy of showing kingyo mysteriously.
Flower2 Aquarium（フラワーフラワーアクアリウム）（花瓶水槽）
新しいゴージャスアクアリウムの極み。水槽の中のアクアリウムディスプレイと水槽の外に飛び出すフラワーアレンジメントが競演する花瓶と水槽のコラボレーション作品です。
It is an extremely gorgeous aquarium. It’s the collaboration of flower arrangement jumping out from the aquarium tank and aquarium display in the tank.
Zen Aquarium（禅アクアリウム）（壁掛け水槽）
日本画によく描かれる金魚。それをリアルで表現した額縁式のアート水槽です。まるで絵画を思わせ、横見(よこみ)の金魚の美しいシルエットが楽しめる作品です。
This is frame type art aquarium tank that has expressed in real, the goldfish often drawn in the Japanese painting. This reminds you of a painting and you can enjoy the beautiful silhouette of “yokomi” goldfish, the ones that looks more beautiful when seen from the side.
Kaleidorium（カレイドリウム）（万華鏡）
金魚が優雅に泳ぐ、横長の水槽。その側面には三角形のレンズが埋め込まれていて、中を覗くと幾何学模様が現れます。それは、金魚が描く万華鏡。レンズのそばを金魚が泳ぐたび、まるで万華鏡を回しているかの様に模様が美しく変化する作品です。
Rectangle shaped aquarium tank where goldfish elegantly swims. You will see the world of kaleidoscope when you look through the triangle window in front. It is kaleidoscope world drawn by the goldfish. When the goldfish swims near the lens, the pattern changes beautifully as though you are rotating the kaleidoscope.
Oiran (花魁)（巨大金魚鉢）
1000匹の金魚が泳ぐおそらく世界で一番大きな金魚鉢。この作品は江戸の遊郭を表現しており、乱舞する金魚は花魁とそれを目指す女達を表しています。七色に変化するライティングにより、江戸の花街の艶やかさを演出している作品です。
This is probably the biggest goldfish tank where nearly 1,000 goldfish swims. This work expresses the red-light district during the Edo Period. The lighting that changes into 7 colors show its fascinatingly beautiful atmosphere . The goldfish represents the top “oiran” and ladies aiming to become oiran.
Andonrium（アンドンリウム）（行燈水槽）
中に泳ぐ金魚と側面にレースで施されたグラフィックとが、常に変化し続ける複雑な影を織り成し、金魚の新たな魅力を引き出します。
行燈という日本の伝統的な照明をモチーフにした、アクアリウムによるライティングという考え方の集大成といえる作品です。
From the goldfish swimming inside and the graphic made from the lace on the side, it creates the complex shadow that continuously changes which brings out the new attractiveness of the goldfish.
Motif being “andon” which is the traditional Japanese light, it can be said this work is the compilation of the thought, lighting by aquarium.
Byoburium（ビョウブリウム）（屏風水槽）
アクアリウムで屏風を作った逸作。水墨画風の映像を背面に投影しその前に泳ぐ金魚の影で、水墨画映像に動く金魚を加えたバーチャルとリアルの融合が生んだ全く新しいアートアクアリウムの代表格作品です。
Byoubu (screen) is created by aquarium. Goldfish swimming in front of the black&white drawing projection, it’s the mix of virtual and the real. It is the representative work of a very new art aquarium.
Prisrium No.18 & No.12 ( プリズリウムNo.18 & No.12 )
屈折効果がマジカルな視覚をもたらす多面体の特殊なアクアリウムです。巨大な12面体と18面体の２種類の水槽は、ダイヤモンドの様に輝き、水槽と言う枠を超えた造形美を見せてくれます。中を泳ぐ魚達はその屈折効果により大きく見えたり、小さく見えたり、時に歪んで見えたり、いたずらな視覚を楽しめます。水槽内部に映り込む魚の群れと、照明の代わりに投射された映像が水槽で乱反射してプリズム効果を生む作品です。
It is unique polyhedron aquarium, refraction effect bringing magical sight. Huge 12-sided polyhedron and 18-sided polyhedron shines like diamonds and these works are more than aquarium tank and it shows beautiful art form. The fish that swims inside can be seen sometimes big, sometimes small, sometimes crooked because of the refraction effect and you can enjoy the mischievous sight. Swarm of the fish inside the tank and image projected instead of lighting reflect diffusely inside the tank bringing prism effect.
